What are the best dress shoes for a lot of walking?

I walk a lot because of my commute, I haven't been able to find good shoes for work that don't leave my feet in pain. I usually dress with a dress shirt, slacks and a tie, I occasionally have to wear a suit. I've heard some brands are better than others for this.

2. Some type of well-polished, low-quarter, lace-up, Oxford shoe. Red Wing has (or at least had) some good ones, like what Postal workers wear. Another idea, have one pair of comfortable shoes to wear during your commute, and bring along a second pair of dressier shoes with you to change into for work.
