Does anyone know how to repair cracks in dress shoes?

I have coreframe (pleather or plastic) dress shoes. Because I have worn them so much, the plastic has cracked at the where it had just been creases before. I have a big event that these shoes need to look good at coming up in a day or two and I cannot afford to buy another pair. Anyone have any ideas?

1. go to a shoe repair shop and ask them....they specialize in it, and they could probably give you something or do something to them to repair the cracks. It should not be too expensive
