what color is in for Christmas party dresses?

I am going to a company Christmas party and need to know what colors are in and the type of dress (short, long, maybe inbetween) that should be worn. All I know is it is formal attaire and it's at the Hyatt. HELP I'm not into the latest fashions.

1. IF you have nice legs fo for the short dress, but if not do for an inbetween also just go with a black dress they are always in. good luck!
2. Colors that are in are: Dark purple, dark green, dark red, black, burgendy, dark orange-ish color. I would say right above or right below the knee length dresses.
3. Jewel tones are in this season. Deep purple, deep blues. I would go with a knee lengh dress sinces its for than office party.

Pick a color and style that flatters you, and don't worry about wearing "this year's color" unless you don't plan to wear the dress twice. 3) Stick to non-alcoholic beverages, such as Virgin Marys or ginger ale, if possible. Company Christmas parties can be a career minefield, if you're not careful. 4) A good dress shop can help you select an appropriate dress.
