How do you wear party dresses during winter?

If wearing thermal clothes and lot of layers can do the trick for casual winter clothes, what about for winter? If its necessary to wear sleeveless (no layers) party clothes, how do you stay warm in winter? thanks

3. Wear a big, long, thick coat over it when outside, and a sweater while inside.
4. Hopefully the venue is heated because then you can wear anything you want
5. Depending on how cold it is, you could still get away with layering: like a nice fitted jacket or classy cardigan sweater over a dress.
6. You wear a coat over your clothing until you get into where ever it is your going
7. Either way, wear a warm coat for back up. If the venue's heated, it'll be easier just to then remove the coat and still look hot in your winter dress etc.

10. For outside, wear a heavy dress coat and once inside, you could always slip on light sweater or shawl.
11. You buy a really cool large scarf to throw over your shoulders. You could also buy a sleeveless party dress that already comes with a little matching sweater or throw. Then when you get to the party, you can take it off.

15. Try topping a dress with a faux-fur bolero or wrap for a very dressy occasion. Depending on whether or not the event takes place in a heated building, you can wear a dressy floor-length coat while you're outside, then take it off inside. For a very "this season" look, you can also pair a dress with tights and peeptoe heels.
16. Buy a wrap! They are stylish and classy, but they keep you toasty! Cashmere pashminas are the best, in my opinion- warmest, cutest, softest.
17. i wear beautiful party dresses in winter with matching winter coats and if the room is heated i remove the coats and just have fun... this look really rocks.. i sum times use beautifully embroidery sweaters above cool jeans or skirts and wear legging. well i also wear velvet dresses in winter they are winter cloth and keep you warm and are in different types ..there are velvet shirts pants long skirts and even full outfits in velvet in beautiful co lours you have a wonderful avator!!
