Do skirts make a girl feel more helpless? Why do men get turned by the helpless girl?

I'm not asking this question to offend anyone. I am just curious why girls seem sexier when they appear more helpless? Why is that? I mean, tough, strong independent women dominate the world these days, but somehow men still seem to be drawn to the sweet, helpless girl with the little skirt on? Do women try to act helpless to turn men on? Do they feel more vulnerable when they wear pretty skirts and dresses? Thanks. Just curious.
