why Islam is very conservative about girls dress?

Islam is very conservative about girls dressing . why? Do you think man can not control themselves if they watch girls in small dress?

1. From Islamic point of view girls is not an object of pleasure for every man. BTW, all religion have been conservative about dress of girl but most of the religion stop going against any modern trends that came from perverted west. The more appropriate question is that, "Why Islam did not changed itself to be in line with perverted west"
2. They can't, and they fault the women for "tempting" them by showing their hair, ankles, etc. That is why the Islamic laws don't just punish a man who rapes a woman but also the woman who is raped. In their warped thinking, they think she is not a victim but part of the guilty party.
3. When men repress women it's a commentary on their own lack of civilization. But the opposite of this, the whorification of young women in America, is maybe even worse. Somewhere in the middle isthe right course of action for a decent society.
4. I think Islam is conservative to the point of being neurotic about the way there daughters dress. What comes to my mind is the father that shot his 2 beautiful daughters for wearing western style clothing. Very sad, they are living in the stone ages. Maybe they are afraid of there own sick lack of self control thats a thought.

Its obvious whether man can controls itself or not, see in the western countries where women wear minimum clothes and the rate of rape is very high, in islaamic country where women cover their bodies with hijaab the rape cases is nil. Almighty God created men doesnt He know the nature of the men? He certainly knows the nature of the man so first he ordered man to lower his gaze and then women are asked to cover their bodies.
