Where can I find party dresses for girls under 12 years old in Southern CA?

We're invited to a evening wedding and I've been to Nordstrom, Macy's, and other places but they don't have much to choose from. I'd like my daughters to try them on before buying them to make sure they fit okay that's why I'd rather not buy them online. If anyone knows of a good place to shop for pretty and not "too" expensive dresses please let me know.

2. ok dont get them from walmart because their friends have been there actually... actually give this a try but.. ross and goodwill. honestly. thy have good clothes sometimes
3. I know this sounds tacky, but if you're willing to dig, then try Sears. They have very affordable dresses for little girls and a surprisingly large formal wear department. Trying Ross and Goodwill does sound good, only I think they target older girls. You could try Gap or the Children's Place as well, only I think their merchandise is more casual.
