Girls Dress

im having a dance party and i want the girls to wear dresses. what should i call that on the invitations?

so i'm having my 13th birthday party. it's gonna be a dance party with like a DJ and stuff. i want the girls to wear party dresses but i don't want to put "cocktail attire" on the invitations because that sounds to old for us. any suggestions?

2. formal might sound a bit much for a 13 year old, so try semi-formal. it's more relaxed, but still dressy.
