How can I successfully pull off skirts w/leggings without looking frumpy?
I love wearing skirts and dresses, but my new school is very strict on lengths and the skirts/dresses I find cute would be too short without something being worn underneath. They also have a strict rule with shirts so I can't so any tank tops without a cardigan or jacket over it. How can I pull of a dress or skirt without looking frumpy and piled on with clothes? I wasn't exactly talking about denim skirts, more like floral prints or the other fabric ones ha, you know?

- Wear a short jean skirt, with black leggings, & a cute shirt that is kinda long. & with dresses, I wouldn't wear a dress with leggings. so stick with dresses that are long enough for school, or just don't wear them (: I love wearing skirts with layers at my school.
- Yeah, i have a problem when coming to this type of look. Just make sure that the leggings and shoe don't clash. Try a shorter legging, or pull it up to around your knee area. You definitely don't want to look shorter. And yeah, I'd wouldn't wear leggings with dresses, more like stockings. This way, there's no visible line that cuts off your leg from your heels/shoes. And wear a 3/4 sleeve shirt that has a semi-low round neckline and tuck it into your skirt. This way you don't have to layer on more clothes and keep it simple. http://fashionesedaily.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/08/legging.jpg (girl with brown hair)http://hiddenpulse.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/DSC_0237-684x1024.jpg http://houseoffraser.scene7.com/is/image/HOF/I_130605776_00_20091208?wid=350&hei=400&op_usm=1,1,0,0
