What do you think of girls that wear short skirts?

I haven't worn shorts or skirts in almost 6 years, with the exception of a skirt maybe 4 times a year. I am very self-conscious of my legs because I have large thighs. Lately, I have really been wanting to wear skirts, and short ones, and I have no idea why. Is this trashy or does it show condfidence?(something I am trying to get) I don't mean about to expose myself short, but definately above the knee, maybe mid-thigh?

No, plus, skirts are in style. A lot of women wear them and they look good.
It shows self-confidence. Large thighs? Men have dreams of women with large thighs. If you don't have cankles wear the skirt or else you will be limited to wearing a toga like me.
Be your self, wear what ever you like, Short skirts are fine just not so short all you see is your panties under it.

If you're confident enuff to give it a go, go ahead! 2ndly: How short are the skirts you're talking about? If they cover at least half the thighs when standing up, they're still alrite. But shorter than that, I'd consider trashy, or over-exposing. Besides, mini skirts are a trend now anyway! Have fun! =]
it isn't trashy in my opinion, well depending on how short it is you know. if you don't even have to been over and you can see your behind, then it is a little bit. but just because it's short doesn't make it trashy. in a way it does show confidence, especially if you don't seem uncomfortable in your outfit.
if any1 judges u their jelous! no1 should judge u im not "skinny" and im gonna go out into a pool w/ swimming shorts and a bikini top. it shows confidence. =)

I think a lot of women look really good in skirts...you just need to find the right length/shape for your size. If you look good in a skirt you feel confident and it shows! Sometimes if I'm feeling a little exposed or insecure i wear tights with my skirt
