What are these silky lace things called the ones women wear under skirts?

They are like skirts but you wear them under dresses or skirts. I want one but I dont know what they are called.

19. It's called a slip and a lady should never leave the house without wearing one, IMHO. I'm not surprised that there are people these days who don't even know what they are called.
