What's the best kind of boot to wear with short denim destroyed skirts in the summer?

I really like to wear boots w/ skirts but what's the best kind to wear with destroyed denim skirts in the summer? I'm 5ft 4, and I have thin legs, but becuase they're toned and I work out a lot. I'm also a teen.

1. I think short Uggs would be cute with it even though it's summer. Like short Uggs in a bright color. It would be cute.
2. This might sound a bit odd, but for spring and early summer, the furry tan boots look excellent with jean skirts. They also make legs look even longer and leaner. Make sure the boots come just below your knee. Also, make sure they arent TOO furry. Bright colored boots would be cute too.
3. cowboy boots. like cute, brightly colored ones. trust me.
